Obituary: VIVIAN SELLARS BARBER
Vivian Sellars Barber, 76, left this world to continue her journey on September 21, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at First Christian Church with Rev. Lee Hull Moses officiating.
She was born June 27, 1936 in New Hanover County to the late Louie Judson and Lottie Sue Babb Sellars.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest grandson, Weston Jacob Staley.
Survivors include her children, Vista Yvonne Simpson, Rev. "Hunter" H.E. and Pamela Thompson, Lisa Y. and Dallas Wayne Marion; grandchildren, Phillip and Karen Staley, Oliver Thompson, Rachel Thompson, Jessica Marion and Mayo Fujuki; sister, Hilda Sellars Godwin and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 1900 West Market St, Greensboro, NC 27403.
