RUTH ANN ROBERTS Ruth Ann (Loftin) Roberts, 81, of Wilmington, NC, died on Saturday May 6, 2017, at the National Lutheran Home in Rockville, MD.

Born on May 6, 1936 in Wilmington, she was the daughter of the late Edward Hurcomb and Mildred (Rivenbark) Loftin.

She is survived by her daughter, Marian Mengedoht and husband Brandon of Clarksburg, MD; two sisters, Carolyn Graham of Jacksonville, NC, Grace Loftin of Wilmington, NC, and one granddaughter, Adelle Mengedoht.

She spent her career in radio and television advertising and upon retirement was a volunteer at the Cape Fear Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime member of Winter Park Presbyterian Church.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 12, at the Oakdale Cemetery, 520 N 15th St, Wilmington, NC 28401. Reverend Emile Harley will officiate.
