GRACE BATSON (AUSTIN) OBITUARY:
Grace Batson Austin, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2014.
Mrs. Austin was the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace Batson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Smith Austin, Sr., a sister, Annette Sinclair, and brother, Thomas Batson.
Grace is survived by a son; Wayne Smith Austin, Jr. two daughters; Suzanne Renee Austin, Sharon Alison Moore , and sister; Dorothy Casteen, four Grandchildren; Jenny Clifton, Sarah Crowley, Jessica Autry, and Robin Swain, great grandchildren, Kate and Ella Clifton, Allie and Kinsley Crowley, Ayden and Kaleb Autry and Zack Long.
Grace was a long-time member of Riegelwood Baptist Church. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Grace will be greatly missed and always lovingly remembered.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Wayne Smith Austin, Jr., and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The staff of Coble Ward-Smith is honored to serve the family of Grace Batson Austin.
