Obituary: GERALDINE TYSON CARTER
Geraldine Tyson Carter, of WiImington, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007, at home after an extended illness.
She was bom in Wilmington, NC, September 22, 1936, daughter of the late Grady Tyson and Eva Watson Tyson.
Mrs. Carter was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, George Carter; children, Debbie King and husband Frank of Castle Hayne, NC, Michael Carter of Texarkana, Texas, and Greg Carter and wife Barbara of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Sabrina Carter of Gainesville, Florida, Jennifer Lo of Wilmington, NC; great-grandchild, Jazmin Lopez, brothers, James Tyson and Billy Ray Tyson, sister, Gale Fields,all of Wilmington, NC.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
