Obituary: CAROLE NANCE HINNANT


Carole Nance Hinnant, 59, of Charlotte, N.C., died November 19, 1995, at Carolinas Medical Center.

She was born June 25, 1936, in Wilmington, N.C., daughter of Melba Gilmore Nance and the late Charles E. Nance.

Mrs. Hinnant was a graduate of New Hanover High School, Wilmington, N.C., and attended the Woman College of the University of North Carolina. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and Olde Providence Raquet Club. She was a loving wife and mother.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, from the Harry and Bryant Chapel in the Oaks with the Reverend Martin F. McCarthy, Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park.

The family received friends at the Harry and Bryant Chapel from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Hinnant; 2 daughters, Robin Lynn Hinnant and Lisa Carole Hinnant, both of Charlotte; mother and stepfather, Melba and Wilbur Brown, stepmother, Ruth Nance, and stepbrother, Rodney B. Croom, all of Wilmington, N.C.
